:: Golf in the Province of Granada
If, in addition to enjoying the sights of Granada, you want to practice your swing or relax playing a few holes during your holidays, this province has four golf courses from which to choose; three very close to the city and one in the town of Motril, on the Costa Tropical, Los Moriscos Golf Club. Also, the ‘Granada Global Green Fee’ is a golf pass that allows you to play, at a very attractive price, all four courses in the province. The pass, which consists of four vouchers, is an initiative of all four of the province's golf courses, acting in collaboration with the Provincial Tourism Board of Granada and the Andalusian Tourism Bureau. The retail price of the pass is 150 euros and with it golfers can play once at each of the four courses or use them however they choose. Buying a pass means a savings of up to 62 euros compared to the usual prices. Guadix Golf will be the name of a sporting complex soon to be built in the area of Veguilla. This will bring the number of golf courses in the province up to five.

:: Santa Clara Golf Avda. del Juncalillo s/n. 18630 - Otura - Granada Tel. 958.702.800 - Fax. 958.702.804 http://www.santaclaragolfgranada.com Designed by Enrique Canales Busquets, this course measures 6579 yards from the yellow tee and was built in 2006. It is a long, broad course although quite challenging technically, thanks to its natural design that makes the most of the terrain's variations in level. It is the closest golf course to the Sierra Nevada Mountains so it has beautiful views of this spectacular mountain range, and it is a very fun course to play because it is difficult to lose the ball. The temperatures, comparable to those of the coast, are pleasant year round. It has a practice range.
