Granada, member of the European Federation of Conference Towns, has made a great effort in recent years to increase the variety of options available to this segment. Although it is not the only one, the Granada Conference Centre is the main venue for this kind of event. The building has a modern, functional design, is located in the city centre and offers the most advanced technological services: satellite videoconferencing, a digital telephone exchange with various communications protocols, over three thousand voice and data connections, closed circuit television, all the equipment necessary for simultaneous translation, and much more.
With its seven levels, the Conference Centre has nine halls with an overall capacity for 3560 people. The largest ones are the García Lorca Hall, which holds 2000 conference attendees, and the Manuel de Falla Hall, which can hold up to 560. The other halls, of smaller capacity, offer a wide range of possibilities that can be adapted to meet the needs of any type of event. The building's split-level entry hall, with a total floor area of 3000 square metres, makes an ideal place for exhibits and fairs. And the Carlos I Amphitheatre, located on the roof terrace, is perfect for evening concerts, cultural activities and fancy dinners, with its capacity for 1700 people.
